Effect of Post-mixing Vacuum Degassing time of MWCNT/Epoxy Mixture and MWCNT Content on the Flexural Behaviour of MWCNT Filled Glass/Epoxy Composite

In the current examination, adjustment of epoxy resin has been conducted by multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) a consecutive cycle containing stirring, sonication and followed vacuum degassing (VD). Accentuation centred on impact I) VD time (4, 12, 18 50 hours) MWCNT/epoxy mixture ii) MWCNT content in (0.1 0.3 wt. % w.r.t epoxy) flexural properties installed glass/epoxy-composite (MWCNT- GE) concerning control glass/epoxy (GE) composites. Greatest quality (0.1%)- GE composite was acquired with hours (27% higher than GE), whereas modulus found to be maximum 12 (nearly22% GE). Incorporation (0.3wt. %)resulted poor performance due agglomeration as confirmed from scanning electron microscope(SEM).
